Implementation of a new time distribution system with a more precise timingsynchronization within TenneTs grid in Germany. The aim of the tender is to implement acomplete functional (Network) management system incl. respective hardware like ePRTCClocks, Atomic Caesium Clocks etc. within currently existing network. In parallel the system shall be as much independent as possible from outside. Furthermore, services will benecessary during subsequent operation. The installation is demand-driven and will therefore take time between 10 to 20 years depending on renovation of substations. The project willstart with an initial project phase with prior PoC. Therefore the aim is to sign a framework-and service agreement with prior PoC to equip clearly defined locations with clocks/timedistribution.

The installation is demand-driven and will therefore take time between 10 to 20 yearsdepending on renovation of substations. It will be a gradual implementation of allsubstations within TenneTs grid in Germany.
