Swissgrid is building a new GIS 220 kV building within the perimeter of the current Chamoson substation (SS). Within the framework of this invitation to tender, the following works are carried out in bulk:

- site installation for structural steel work as well as covering and facade, tinsmithing, thermal insulation and waterproofing;

- delivery and installation of a hoist crane in the GIS room as well as tracks for the overhead crane;

- delivery and installation of gantry cranes in front of the east and west facades of the new building;

- delivery and installation of the earthing system (complete earthing of the metal part);

- new construction of the “Secure” type fence over the entire area, on reinforced concrete foundations made by the main structural work lot.

Execution dates: October 2020 - December 2021.
