Van Maerlant, a school for pre-vocational secondary education with around 700 pupils, is ready for new accommodation. The assignment includes the architectural and structural design for a new school building of approximately 5 100 m2 GFA at the existing location, Onderwijsboulevard 1 in 's-Hertogenbosch. The assignment requires a creative architect who is able to provide phasing options in addition to a suitable design, in order to minimize the costs of temporary accommodation. The assignment concerns the design for the new construction of approximately 5 100 m2 GFA as well as the design for the surrounding outdoor space and associated phases. In addition, two gyms have to be realized with a total of approx. 1 100 m2 GFA. The school must be delivered by the end of 2021.

The Foundation Our Secondary Education intends to carry out replacement new construction in 's-Hertogenbosch for' Van Maerlant 'on Onderwijsboulevard 1.

The Contracting Authority intends to select 1 Tenderer for architectural and structural design work and has launched a European restricted tendering procedure for this purpose.
