Notting Hill Housing on behalf of Folio London is seeking to set up a multiple source Framework for the supply of Residential Furniture and Soft Furnishings. The key service provision will include the supply and the option of installation and removal of these products where applicable.
Folio buys and replenishes furniture for individual properties on a day to day basis. This includes fully furnishing a unit during the void period between tenancies or purchasing furniture for residents during tenancies.
The Specification
Folio London offers its rental properties to customers either furnished or unfurnished dependant on the customer's choice but at Folio London's discretion. The portfolio consists of a range of different types and ages of properties (older and brand new developments) and is made up of studios, one, two, three bedroom single or split level apartments and three and four bedroom houses. It is estimated that 70 % of the Folio London portfolio is currently fully or part furnished. Folio London buys furniture and soft furnishings for properties in two common circumstances:
1.Buying and replenishing furniture for individual properties on a day to day basis. This is to include fully furnishing a unit during the void period between tenancies or purchasing furniture for residents during tenancies.
2.Buying furniture in bulk for new developments (10 to 300 unit developments) to include the strategic planning of show flat interior design, furnishing and delivery.
Folio London buys a full range of furniture from low end budget goods to middle to high-level prime packages for a contemporary high end style. Packages should be able to be easily customised and the Folio London team should be presented with a number of options, ranges and styles to choose from. For both show apartments and rental units, Folio London would expect a tailor made service to include site surveys from the supplier, support and guidance on the implementation of furniture strategies and a bespoke interior design service where necessary.
Suppliers will need to identify both the standard products and the supply of specialised items. Suppliers will be required to provide a catalogue view of the core products specified.
Folio London's properties span across 14 London boroughs (Barnet, Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Croydon, Hackney, Hounslow, Harrow, Lambeth, Newham, Enfield, Islington, Merton, Ealing and Richmond) and its set to expand. Suppliers are expected to demonstrate their ability to successfully service the entirety of London's geography.
