The assignment concerns the renovation of child center Doorslag.

Primary school De Krullevaar was located in the current building, together with childcare (Blos) and after-school care (Kind&Co). Part of the building is currently vacant. The renewed design houses primary school De Trompetvogel, Blos and Kind&Co.

Primary school De Trompetvogel is currently located in a complex at Parelduiker 15. It is the ambition of the municipality to bring the PO school together under one roof with childcare and pre-school and out-of-school care as one child center (KC).

Primary school De Krullevaar is no longer part of the child center due to the closure of the school. For part of the building, the municipality is looking for an external tenant. This may still have consequences for the design.

The goal is to deliver the complex in the summer of 2025.
