Places for People (PfP — Procurement Hub as a part of PfP) has been instructed by Your Housing Group to conduct a mini competition under the PfP DPS for Building Materials and Associated Services. The mini competition is aimed at selecting the most economically advantageous tender for the supply of building materials, plumbing and heating products, gas spares, electrical products, tiles, renewable products and associated services including tool and plant hire and waste management' to Your Housing Group, under the following lots:

Lot 4 — One Stop Shop

It is envisaged that Your Housing Group will award to a sole supplier, in order to create a close working relationship over the life of the contract. It is Your Housing Groups intention to enter into a formal agreement with the successful supplier based the current PfP Materials and Associated Managed Services DPS agreement and the Mini Competition documentation.

Your Housing Group is in the process of developing a new in-house contractor (IHC) service. It is anticipated that this new service will be launched in September 2017. Core Stock Items are defined as items that YHG uses frequently and need to have 98 % availability from the builder's merchant. This contract will also be used to provide Catalogue Items, which are defined as items in the Supplier's catalogue and available through the Supplier's company or group of companies. These will be Non- core items. As the IHC is a new venture for YHG it is anticipated that there will be movement between Core and non-core items and we are looking to work with the successful builder's merchant to ensure efficiency gains for YHG.
