The subject of the contract is the delivery, installation, commissioning, maintenance and support of software for test drive planning, evaluation and extrapolation of the passenger numbers in the MDV.

The software to be procured must process target data and actual data from various feeder systems, including the acquisition and verification of metering data, the calculation and determination of the parameters traffic volume and traffic performance, the recording of manual hand counts and the export to a revenue sharing (EAV) database.

The software to be procured must process setpoint data and actual data from various feeder systems. The processing process must be automatable, for reasons of traceability and for analyzes but at the same time transparent and comprehensible in individual steps.

Further components of the order are:

- Delivery of installation instructions, user manual and technical documentation,

- installation and commissioning of test and productive systems,

- integration tests and monitoring of the test and trial operation,

- project management,

- Training of IT administrators, key users and operators.

Options include trip time analysis, export interface VISUM, a manual counting enumeration app and ESCROW source code backup.

In addition, a software maintenance and support contract with a term of 5 years and an option to renew for another 5 years will be concluded.

The delivery, installation and commissioning of the software is decentralized to 12 transport companies of the road-bound and 4 transport companies of the rail-bound public transport. The software for individual small companies is installed centrally at MDV and used by the companies as a client system. A test system is additionally installed on the MDV.

The software is to be used by the MDV and the transport companies by one or more users and a vastly differing number of counting vehicles. The total of 16 MDV transport companies are:
