The Kliniken Ostalb are planning to procure a learning management system within the framework of KHZG funding element 3.
The Kliniken Ostalb is an independent company of the Ostalbkreis district in the legal form of a non-profit municipal institution under public law. In addition to high-quality all-round care for the population, the Ostalbkreis hospital network also offers special medical services at a top level. With over 1,100 beds, approx. 50,000 inpatients and 100,000 outpatients treated annually, Kliniken Ostalb is not only the top healthcare provider in the region, but is also one of the largest employers in the district with over 3,000 employees.
Within the framework of KHZG funding element 3, it is intended to establish a solution that represents a combination of authoring tool and a training platform.
The authoring tool is used to create learning content in a wide variety of formats and make it available via a connected learning platform. Our employees complete the learning content in accordance with the operational and legal regulations and then it must be documented who has successfully completed the learning content.
A high level of compatibility with the software components already existing in the company for further education and training management is of great importance. There must be an interface to the existing software of Krammer&Partner in order to be able to enter and read out the necessary data into our existing personnel system.
The learning content is provided either by the operator of the platform, the Kliniken Ostalb or third-party providers and must be available side by side on an equal footing.
The system automatically invites participants to the training courses in good time and informs their supervisor about them.
A WEB application is expected that can be accessed with any common browser.
