The Trier Region Waste Management Association A.R.T. is currently constructing a new operating and administration building on the site of the Waste Management and Recycling Centre (EVZ) Mertesdorf.

To this end, the location of the existing waste disposal and recycling centre will be expanded to include a new building that includes workshop, administration and social rooms.

The new building will be built with two full storeys, whereby the ground floor is heavily elevated as a reinforced concrete structure due to the scales to be bridged and the workshop. In both sides of the building there are 2 mezzanines in the concrete base, which mainly contain stairwells and technical rooms. The upper floor is designed as a timber construction (BSH) with a glass façade. This mainly includes the administrative areas and social rooms.

The tender includes the scaffolding work. Attention must be paid to the scale passages to be kept clear, entrance areas on the ground floor and the ability to drive around the construction site.
