Proceedings entitled: "RDW in Chełm. Renovation of the provincial road No. 841 Cyców – Wierzbica – Staw on the section from km 23+890 to km 24+715 and the voivodeship road No. 843 Chełm – Kraśniczyn – Zamość on the section from km 10+600 to 11+700 and from km 25+600 to km 26+375"
Road sections selected for renovation are in poor technical condition resulting from many years of operation. There are deformations, local unevenness of the surface, crack losses and ruts. The above-mentioned defects cause difficulties and threaten traffic safety, which is why there is a need to perform urgent renovation works.
The scope of works:
The designed scope of works is aimed at restoring the parameters of the road surface to their original state in accordance with the scope of works:
1) Provincial road No. 841 Cyców – Wierzbica – Staw on the section from km 23+890 to km 24+715
- Corrective milling of bituminous surface up to 4.0 cm thick with the removal of the destructor to the OD material base in Chełm,
- Leveling the existing surface with mineral-asphalt mixture AC 16W 35/50 KR 3-4 along with cleaning and sprinkling with asphalt emulsion,
- Execution of asphalt wear layer AC 11S 50/70 KR 3-4 - thickness after compaction min. 5 cm with cleaning and sprinkling with asphalt emulsion,
The scope of works concerns the renovation of the surface on the section of the provincial road 841 from km 23+890 to km 24+715 along with the renovation of the surface at intersections with municipal roads at km 23+956 page L and at km 24+704 str. L (within the boundaries of the road lane of the provincial road).
2) Provincial road No. 843 Chełm – Kraśniczyn – Zamość from km 10+600 to km 11+700
- Corrective milling of bituminous surface up to 4.0 cm thick with the removal of the destructor to the OD material base in Chełm,
- Execution of asphalt wear layer AC 11S 50/70 KR 3-4 - thickness after compaction min. 5 cm with cleaning and sprinkling with asphalt emulsion,
The scope of works concerns the renovation of the surface on the section of the provincial road 843 from km 10+600 to km 11+700 along with the renovation of the surface at intersections with municipal roads at km 11+081 str. P and at km 11+192 str. L (within the boundaries of the road lane of the provincial road).
3) Provincial road No. 843 Chełm – Kraśniczyn – Zamość from km 25+600 to km 26+375
- Corrective milling of bituminous surface up to 4.0 cm thick with the removal of the destructor to the OD material base in Chełm,
- Execution of asphalt wear layer AC 11S 50/70 KR 3-4 - thickness after compaction min. 5 cm with cleaning and sprinkling with asphalt emulsion,
- Restoration of the bitumen expansion joint cover on the bridge,
The scope of works concerns the renovation of the surface on the section of the provincial road 843 from km 25+600 to km 26+375 along with the renovation of the surface at intersections with municipal roads at km 26+181 str. P and at km 26+181 str. L (within the boundaries of the road lane of the provincial road).
All materials used for renovation must have current approvals, certificates or declarations of performance and be approved for use in construction. All structural layers of the surface should be made in accordance with applicable standards and technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works. In places of close-ups with underground utilities, the work must be done manually. All works carried out must be marked and secured in accordance with applicable regulations.
The detailed scope of works is included in the Bill of Quantities, technical documentation, offer cost estimate and Technical Specifications for the Execution and Acceptance of Construction Works constituting an integral part of the SWZ.
Before submitting the offer, the Contractor is obliged to carefully check the number of works with the documentation made available on the Ordering Party's website. Due to the fact that the contract for works is a lump-sum contract, in the event of a larger number of works occurring during the execution of works in any item, it will not be considered as additional work with a demand for additional remuneration. Any absence in the bill of quantities or the tender estimate of certain works necessary to be performed on the basis of the design documentation does not release the contractor from the obligation to perform them on the basis of the design at the contractual price.
The Contractor is obliged to ensure safe road, road and pedestrian traffic conditions in the area of the works covered by the contract on the basis of a temporary traffic organization project approved by the traffic management body on provincial roads and to apply it during the execution of works. The temporary traffic organisation project is attached to this tender dossier.
