The municipality of Laukaa requests your offer for a service that includes forest management, forest improvement and felling planning, as well as the implementation of forest management and improvement measures. The task of the service provider is to plan and implement forest management in forests owned by the municipality in accordance with the objectives of the municipality of Lauka. The duties of the service provider and a more detailed description of the procurement are presented in the draft procurement agreement attached to the invitation to tender (Contract on the procurement of forest management services).

The municipality of Laukaa owns a total of approximately 2500 hectares of forest areas, most of which are commercial forests and the rest other forests. The client's forests are valuable in many forms and they are divided into different areas according to location, zoning situation, other purpose of use and history. Forests are associated with many expectations, needs and goals, such as financial return, recreational use, a pleasant living environment, raw land reserves, as well as the promotion of biodiversity and nature conservation.

The Customer does not commit to any annual subscription volumes or subscription volumes covering the contract period.

The Customer reserves the right to commission any measures it wishes for its own personnel or employment projects.

The agreement starts on 1.1.2024 and is valid until further notice.

The procurement exceeds the EU threshold value and the procurement complies with the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts (1397/2016). The principles of impartiality, non-discrimination, transparency and proportionality are applied in competitive tendering in accordance with the basic principles of good administration laid down in the EU Treaty and the Administrative Procedure Act.

Finnish is used in all procurement-related transactions.
