Bremer Bäder GmbH intends to build a replacement building for the indoor swimming pool on the grounds of the Westbad in Bremen Walle at Waller Heerstraße 293 A in 28219 Bremen. For this purpose, the old indoor pool will be demolished, the existing outdoor pool will remain unaffected by the measure, but must be taken out of operation for the duration of the construction work. The directly adjacent Paradice ice rink will remain in operation.

The indoor pool has a total dimension of 51 * 63 m, building height 5.0 to 9.10 m, gross volume 31,000 m3.

The indoor pool will be equipped with the following pools:

-Combi pool with diving system and lifting floor, 15.0 * 25.0 m, water depth 3.5 - 0.0 m,

-Teaching pool, 12.5 * 8.0 m, water depth 1.35 - 0.8 m,

-Course pool 1 without lifting floor, 7.0 * 8.6 m, water depth 1.35 m,

-Course pool 2 with lifting floor, 11.6 * 8.60 m, water depth 1.8 - 0.0 m,

-Toddler pool, 7.0 * 5.2 m, water depth 0.4 to 0.2 m, 40 m² WF

Complete demolition of the Westbad including technical building equipment, 30,000 m3 of enclosed space, floor area 4,300 m2, length 84 m, width 57 m, height 3.6 - 7.8 m, partial basement, cellar depth 2.50 to 4.80 m, floor area 2,900 m2. 2,600 m3 of concrete construction: basement floor, pool walls (with spacers containing asbestos), ceilings, 1,100 m3 MW walls.

Flat roof 4,300 m2, Bitbahn masking, mineral fibre + EDS insulation on trapezoidal sheet metal.

Protective measures according to TRGS 519 and 521 partially required.
