Politiets fellestjenester (PFT) (the Norwegian Police Joint Services), henceforth referred to as the contracting authority shall, on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security with subdivisions, as well as the Norwegian Courts Administration, enter into framework agreements regarding the procurement of multifunction machines, large format printers, maintenance and associated services. This means that the contract shall include the following participating entities in the justice sector:
Under the Ministry of Justice and Public Security:
— The Higher Prosecution Authorities,
— The Norwegian Police Security Service (PST),
— The District Governor of Svalbard,
— The Police and Rural Police service, i.e. the National Police Directorate with underlying police districts, the execution and enforcement commissioner of Oslo,
— The National Criminal Investigation Service (KRIPOS),
— The National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime in Norway (Økokrim),
— The Norwegian Police University College (PHS),
— The National Mobile Police Service (UP),
— The National Police Immigration Service (PU),
— The Norwegian Border Commissioner and the Reindeer Police,
— The Norwegian Courts Administration,
— The Directorate for Emergency Communication.
The National Police Computing and Material Service (PIT) is responsible for the ICT systems in the Police and Rural police service, as well as the Higher Prosecution Authorities. The service is under the National Police Directorate, and the head offices are located at Majorstua in Oslo. The National Police Computing and Material Service (PIT) also provides services to other entities included in the public administration National Police Computing and Material Service (PIT) will be administratively responsible for the framework agreements.
