The district hospital of Siegen has set itself the goal of going into operation with a new, modern and future-oriented solution for mobile rounds (55 pieces) by 15.03.2022. The hardware solution to be procured should integrate into an overall system with the HIS /mobile ePA and the already existing or possibly integrated subsystems to form an overall system in order to cover the following tasks:

- access to electronic medical records at bedside

- Mobile business support

- Additional station workstations

- WiFi capability

- Integration into existing hardware and software environment

A provider is being sought who, as a general contractor, can fulfil the services required in the specification of services. If this cannot be achieved with its own hardware and software products, the provider is free to integrate solutions from subcontractors to fulfill the task. In these cases, the provider must ensure that the supplier/general contractor has a corresponding contractual bond with the supplier companies for the entire contract period, including the warranty period. Otherwise, the provider must provide a cost-neutral replacement for the client for the remainder of the contract period.

In addition, the provider must agree to provide comprehensive support to the district hospital of Siegen in future expansions of IT deployment.

The new system is expected to meet today's standards for hardware, hygiene and occupational safety. Here are examples:

- optimal adaptability to the client's needs,
