Arbetsförmedlingen invites you to submit tenders in the framework agreement procurement of Interpreting Services Platstolk.

Background
According to Section 13 of the Administrative Procedure Act (2017:900), an authority must use an interpreter and ensure that documents are translated if necessary for the individual to be able to exercise his or her rights when the authority has contact with someone who does not speak Swedish. In order for jobseekers and employers with limited language skills in Swedish to be able to take part in services, labour market policy initiatives and services on equal terms as those who know Swedish, Arbetsförmedlingen needs to use language interpreters as a tool. Arbetsförmedlingen needs to have accessible services in order to be an authority for everyone. Jobseekers and employers who need a language interpreter to be able to communicate must be offered this in contact with the Swedish Public Employment Service during individual discussions, group initiatives, and when participating in labour market policy programmes and initiatives.

Tender opening
Tender opening takes place at the Employment Agency. At the opening of the tender, at least two (2) officials from the Procurement Department are involved. The tender opening is not public. However, at the request of a bidder, one designated person of the Chamber of Commerce may attend. Costs for this shall be paid by the requested request.
