The city of Göttingen intends to renovate and make the existing, listed outdoor swimming pool on Brauweg more attractive. All pools are to be fundamentally revised. This includes the removal of all overflow channels, the removal of the foil lining, demolition of the pool heads. The bathing water technology is to be largely renewed and revised in parts. All basins will receive new stainless steel channels and a new foil lining. The non-swimmer pool west is converted into a children's pool. The walk-through basins will be replaced by barrier-free walk-through troughs. The existing large slide, as well as the historic diving platform are to be preserved and

during construction. The existing children's pool will be converted into a dry playground.

After completion of the pools, the paved areas will be provided with new surfaces and the transitions to the higher sunbathing lawn will be revised in terms of landscape planning.

The shore areas of the Leine are opened on both sides and integrated into the bathing operation as a nature experience area. A new play suspension bridge completes the offer.

At the same time, the entrance building will be renovated in accordance with monument regulations. The processes of the two separate construction projects must be coordinated in such a way that no obstructions arise.

The construction site access is approached from the north via the Brauweg, the middle access road and the roundabout. Parking is available in front of the west wing of the entrance building.

The construction site will be reached in an easterly direction via the existing cycle path. The secured entrance gate with access control is located behind the east wing. The construction site will be used in oncoming traffic. Turning possibility on a fortified turning circle in the western area. There is limited storage space on the premises. These can be found in the construction site plan.

The property south of the Leine is reached from the sand path and is only available for the work on the construction of the play bridge. The existing bridge is not passable.

It is a jungle bridge in V-shape, according to graphics and plans to deliver and assemble. The hanging and clamping of the bridge structure by means of lifting tools/mobile cranes must be taken into account. The bidder is strongly advised to get an idea of the local conditions before submitting the offer and thus to be able to plan the logistics accordingly.

Preparation of a verifiable static calculation of the entire suspension bridge construction including foundations/fasteners according to DIN EN 1176-1:2017-12 incl. access construction (for anchoring) and steel-concrete foundations). As well as dewatering and construction of bridge foundations.

The existing bridge over the Leine is to receive a new surface (not part of this tender) and a new wooden railing on a steel frame structure. The old railing must be dismantled beforehand.
