Description:
Energy Supply Contracting - Local Heating Network

- Planning, financing and construction of technical facilities for heat generation, distribution and transfer

- Heat supply and billing

- Operational management, as well as maintenance and servicing of the takeover and installed systems (heat generation, distribution network, transfer stations, peripheral systems, as well as structures of the energy center) - Information on the structures of the energy center is provided by the customer

Restructuring takes place on the site of the former district hospital in Spaichingen. The health centre, consisting of two ward blocks (existing buildings), as well as a new medical centre to be built are to be supplied with heat from the energy centre. In addition, five former nurses' dormitories (also existing ones) are to be supplied from the energy centre - there is a heating line in the media channel from the health centre to these (the connection to the new energy centre has yet to be made in its entirety).

The tendered service is an energy supply contracting including the classic services, i.e. planning, construction, financing, operation, maintenance and servicing of generation, supply and distribution plants, as well as all peripheral units. The premises of the energy centre are built by the client as part of the overall measure - the contractor is involved in the process with regard to the planning input of the technical systems, as well as in the form of the permits for the technical systems. In addition to these tasks, the contractor is also responsible for billing the energy with the customers. Large parts of the current existing heating network can be maintained and operated by the contractor according to the current status.

The aim of the tender is to provide a local heating supply with maximum CO2 savings and climate protection. The main energy source of an underlying reference supply is wood in the form of wood chips. The production of the reference variant is available as preliminary planning - any alternative concepts on a highly renewable basis are to be fully conceived and planned by the contractor. Pilot plants are not permitted.
