Landscaping Work, Planting, Plant Delivery and Planting, Fence Making
All landscaping work within the hall is part of this call for tenders. This includes the creation of paths, main visitor paths and side roads, plant delivery and planting, the construction of railings, knee gritters and doors, as well as the installation and furnishing of animal enclosures with stones, dead wood trunks, lianas and artificial trees.
The main visitor path is made of designed concrete without border edging, while the side paths are given a panel covering made of polygonal natural stone slabs. The concrete path is designed for navigability with care vehicles. The side routes can only be walked on. The entrance and exit area of the hall is also covered with designed concrete.
The planting is meant to give the feeling of a jungle. It is divided into three elevation levels, the large trees over 3 to 8 m, a shrub layer up to 3m and an underplanting. The trees are also to be stocked with so-called ride-on plants. The large trees have already been purchased by the client and still need to be transported and planted. Some plants are also provided by the Münster Botanical Garden.
The railings are made of a wood construction with mesh cover. The doors and gates are also made of wood, partly on a steel substructure.
The flooring in animal enclosures consists of sandy surfaces, individual plant islands and “grass surfaces”, a mixture of seed and single grasses.
