The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) is inviting tenderers to an open tender for an Enhanced quadrivalent influenza vaccine against seasonal influenza for vaccination of particularly vulnerable persons from 65 years and older (nursing home residents, users of home nursing care, etc.) An enhanced quadrivalent influenza vaccine is a vaccine that is more effective than the ordinary influenza vaccine that is offered to other target groups in the national vaccination programme.

The aim is to enter into a contract for the delivery of 80,000 doses of enhanced quadrivalent influenza vaccine. It is important that the enhanced quadrivalent influenza vaccine can be delivered in time for FHI to distribute vaccine doses to end users in all of Norway's municipalities, before the flu season starts.
