See II.2.4
GIE EURIDICE operates an underground research laboratory 225 m deep in the Boom clay. The laboratory is accessible by 2 wells, each equipped with recovery systems. In order to ensure the operation of the laboratory for the next 20 years, the renovation of the control system of the second well is necessary. The safety devices installed on the installation during the installation of the cage were based on the German BVOS and TAS regulations and tested for compliance with the Belgian mining regulations of the time. Factory controls (Siemens S5 PLC), the associated HMI display screen and speed control (custom system) are obsolete and are no longer supported. The protection of relaxed cables is also obsolete and currently causes false contacts. It must therefore also be replaced by a new detection system. The intention is to replace these components and when it is demonstrated that: - all existing and necessary safety functions have been supported - at least the same level of security is achieved for each function
The contract is subject to public procurement legislation.
