Framework
The aim of this assignment is to implement sustainable forest management in the first phases of forest development. The various forest activities that are carried out have a preparatory function for the forest exploitation. In order to obtain the highest possible wood quality, some preparatory measures are taken in the period prior to the forest exploitation. This period is extremely important to guarantee the highest possible yield.
During this period, preparatory works will have to take place so that a forest can be planted, but the forest must also receive extra care for the first 20 to 25 years, whereby young plantings must be exempted from competing trees, the trunk must be made branch-free for more and better quality wood. These interventions are carried out for better accessibility, for the wood quality and to obtain the right species composition and this with an ecological approach where necessary.
In these specifications, the following preparatory works were included that precede the forest exploitation: preparation for planting, nursing young insurrection and releasing and pruning future trees in the period before the start of the exploitations.
In addition to this, a limited amount of exotic species control has been included.
For management, adapted equipment must always be used according to the terrain conditions. Both in the execution of the intended services and in the removal of all management products released, we always work with adapted material to avoid damage to soil and vegetations such as cranes with widened tracks, tractors and carts with wide low pressure tires, In some locations, small boulders or iron sandstone can also occur locally in the top layer of the soil. The client uses equipment that is suitable for managing these sites as well.
In order to be able to realize this service, the service provider must be able to make different profiles available with everyone's knowledge and skills. It is important that flexible work can be done.

Framework agreement:
This assignment concerns a framework agreement. The services must be performed at different locations and at different times as this, according to necessity, will be determined by the client. The number, nature and extent of the interventions to be carried out are also not fully known to the contracting authority at the start of the contract and may thus vary according to the needs and circumstances of the year of implementation concerned. This contract is intended as a framework agreement between the contracting authority and one contractor per lot in which, for a certain period, the conditions governing the contracts to be awarded, in particular the prices, are fixed.
During the term of this agreement, orders are ordered by means of work sheets according to the actual need in space, time and volume. The contracts will be awarded to the contract holder on the basis of the conditions laid down in the framework agreement.
Duration of the framework agreement:
The duration of this (framework) agreement is 1 year of implementation and starts on the date as set in the initial order. This framework agreement can subsequently be renewed a maximum of 3 times, each time with 1 year of implementation.
The closure of the contract refers to the totality, i.e. both the basic assignment and the extensions. The contracting authority is only bound by the initial basic contract and not by the extensions. However, the contractor is bound for the whole (initial assignment and renewals) in the sense that he cannot subsequently negotiate any conditions for the extensions other than the conditions initially offered by him.
If the contractor does not wish to renew the assignment, he will inform the client in writing at least 4 months before the end of the term by registered letter to the leading official of this assignment.
