Specialist planning according to HOAI Part 4, Section 2, § 55 Technical Equipment Plant Group 1-3, Service Phase 5-9 (Step-by-step commissioning)
Building 14 to be converted is located on the property Oberst-Herrmann-Kaserne (formerly Rettberg-Kaserne) in Eutin. It is located in the northern part of the property.
The existing accommodation building will not be renovated for economic reasons. Instead, it will be dismantled and replaced by a new building. In the new building, the identified lack of accommodation is to be compensated with the "hotel standard". The building type of the new building is to be designed as a four-storey, non-basement accommodation building with 81 hotel residential units almost identical to the already completed, opposite new accommodation building (building 24). Planning documents are available for this purpose.
The new building is planned as a free-standing four-storey building without a basement. Under building law, it is a special building with an accommodation use. A classification as an accommodation facility does not apply. The main building is 4-storey and extends from the
Ground floor via 1st and 2nd floor to the partly developed, partly undeveloped attic. According to §2 (6) and (7) LBO, the building has 3 full floors. With a height according to §2 (3) of approx. 10.29 m, the building is to be classified according to the LBO Schleswig-Holstein in building class 5. With a maximum occupancy, there are about 81 people in the building. The building law and fire protection concerns of the measure are coordinated with the Specialist Group Public Construction Law of the Building Management Schleswig-Holstein.
- Waste water drop and collection pipes are designed with sleeveless cast iron pipes (SML), the connection pipes in plastic pipe (HT). Floor drains DN100 are planned in the technical rooms. The corresponding basic pipes are also made of sleeveless cast iron pipes. The condensate drainage of the ventilation unit in the attic takes place via a floor drain.
- The drinking water pipes are laid as stainless steel pipes. The horizontal distribution takes place on the ground floor and the vertical distribution in strands in the installation shafts of the wet rooms. The drinking cold water pipes are looped through at the taps and provided with hygiene circuits. A water heating in the flow principle with a heating buffer tank 1,500 l in standing version is planned.
- Water meters and automated backwashable filters are also planned. The insulation of the drinking water pipes cold is diffusion-tight with aluminum laminated mineral wool and the drinking water pipes warm are also insulated with aluminum laminated mineral wool. The insulation in visible areas is carried out with aluminum coarse grain film, in shock-prone areas with sheet metal jacket cladding. After completion of all work, pressure testing and drinking water tests are carried out.
- The building is supplied from the existing heat generation plant in the boiler house of the Oberst-Herrmann barracks. The existing district heating pipes for the old building will be professionally separated. Since the new heating connection room is located on the west side of the building, the pipes have to be rerouted. A new substation with a total of 3 heating circuits is planned:
