Provision of funeral services for the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.

The University Hospitals of Leicester is seeking to appoint a contractor to provide funeral services for the Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield General Hospital.

This contract covers three types of funerals:

• adult and child funerals,

• baby funerals,

• ceremony for the disposal of foetal remains.

The Trust wishes the successful contractor to provide a highly professional, quality, compassionate, sensitive service for the deceased patients, ensuring that the final arrangements for them are provided in a dignified manner whether or not mourners are in attendance.
