Purpose of the services:

1) Ordinary collection of residual household waste and organic household waste by smart containers and bags:

This refers to the ordinary collection of household waste by smart containers and organic household waste (DMO) by compostable bags throughout the territory of the Municipality of Verlaine and their transport to the place of treatment, that is to say in the facilities of the Intradel Intermunicipal or to any other place designated by the contracting authority. In the latter case, if the choice of contracting authority significantly changes the length of the transport to the processing centre, an adjustment of the price of such transport may be agreed by common agreement between the contractor and the contracting authority.

The collection is carried out on the Verlaine entity, which had 4,253 inhabitants and 1,692 households or similar households on 1.1.2021.

The collection will be carried out according to the following scenario:

Weekly collection of residual household waste in smart containers and simultaneous selective weekly collection of organic household waste in compostable bags. The purpose will be to use a duet truck whose waste will be sorted at the source, with identification and weighing of the two fractions.

Collections will take place on Fridays. The day could possibly be modified in agreement between the two parties.

The company includes in particular:

(a) collection of residual household waste by chip containers;

(b) the collection of compostable bags of organic residual waste with a capacity of 25 l on the same day as that of residual household waste;

(c) the use of specially adapted collection vehicles and all their accessories in accordance with the legislation in force;

(d) all operating, insurance, taxes and maintenance expenses for the above-mentioned vehicles;

(e) all expenses of personnel engaged in driving vehicles;

(f) the costs of personnel involved in the collection of bags and emptying of containers;

(g) the transmission of individual data to the contracting authority (see technical clauses);

(h) the delivery of collected waste to the treatment centre (s);

(i) the treatment of household waste is a communal load and is not covered by this contract;

2) provision of new containers and supply of spare parts for the containers supplied:

It will be about:

(a) distribute door-to-door containers for all pick-up points before the first collection, according to the communal listing;

(b) make available new containers of various sizes, in particular to equip new users but also to replace broken or defective copies, at the request of the contracting authority;

(c) supply spare parts for containers, at the request of the contracting authority.

Place of provision of the service: the entire territory of the Commune of Verlaine.
