Maintenance, malfunctions and replacements E&W

The tender concerns maintenance, malfunctions and replacements of E&W, safety &security, automatic doors and management of revisions, documents and drawings at various locations of the Fontys Foundation.

Maintenance, malfunctions and replacements E&W

Based on the current agreement (Lot 1 E and W maintenance, malfunctions, replacements and jobs / project up to € 35,000 excl. VAT and Lot 2 mini-competition E and W projects above € 35,000 excl. VAT) an estimate can be made of the size of the agreement in the coming years. The current agreement is based on the fact that maintenance, malfunctions and replacements of E&W, safety & security and automatic doors account for an amount of more than 2.3 million Euros per year (incl. VAT). This concerns all work up to a maximum amount of € 35,000 (excl. VAT) because the contract is currently set up in this way.

Over the past three years, an average of more than 1.3 million Euros per year has been spent on E and W projects > € 35,000 (excl. VAT). The size of maintenance and projects is expected to remain virtually the same. However, in 2023, four buildings will be divested and three new buildings will be completed. In concrete terms, this means that relatively older buildings will be replaced by new buildings, which means that the number of replacements will be relatively less during the first years after completion, maintenance will become more complex and malfunctions will decrease. However, renovation projects will also take place in the new buildings because they must continue to follow education.
