The client plans to convert the old Shell barrel bottling plant into a multifunctional event hall ("K714 cultural refinery"). The historic building is to retain its industrial charm, while state-of-the-art stage technology and a restaurant with a view of the Rhine are moving in. In this context, the client awards the VE 471 - kitchen technology trade.
The VE 471 - kitchen technology trade is part of the K714 cultural refinery construction project.
In the cultural refinery, a gastronomy kitchen is being built on the ground floor and a satellite kitchen on the 3rd floor. In the basement there are two dry warehouses and a non-food warehouse.
The kitchen on the ground floor consists of a scullery with two dishwashing systems for glasses and dishes, a pre-cooking group with a multifunction tilting frying pan and a hot air steamer tower, a stove block with backs, cooling tables and small appliances, a passport with heating cabinet and thermal bridge and table facilities.
On the 3rd floor there is a third hood dishwasher, a hot air steamer, a passport with heating cabinet and thermal bridge and table facilities. Furthermore, a counter system on the ground floor, as well as a counter system on the 3rd floor is supplied, each with dispensing technology, glass washer, espresso machine, glass door refrigerator and ice cube maker. The counter on the ground floor receives a beverage python with cold water gun in the basement. The CO2 bottles are set up in the non-food warehouse. This is located in the basement.
