Step 1: Software, licenses, and integrations

The target of the procurement is a comprehensive reform of the access control system of the Tampere University Foundation.

The access control system platform acquired in the reform must be a scalable software solution that can be expanded into a common access control system for the entire higher education community at a later stage.

The object of the acquisition is a comprehensive access control software solution covering four (4) campuses.

In the first phase, the access control system platform will be renewed, as well as software and integrations with the necessary licenses.

The quantities to be procured for the purpose of calculating the tender are described in more detail in the Annex "Mass catalogue" to the invitation to tender, which will be sent to the suppliers selected for the restricted procedure.

The procurement entities included in the overall solution are delivered to the Customer fully ready for use.

The offer must include everything necessary for the preparation of the complete solution, such as work, travel, travel time, mileage allowances, daily allowances, hardware, software, licenses, components, installation accessories and tools, as well as instruction and documentation for the use of the system in accordance with the invitation to tender.

The server software of the access control system is placed in a virtualized IT environment designated by the Customer.

The supported platforms for the subscriber are Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and Microsoft SQL 2019 or later.

The access control system must have both a Windows workstation and a browser-based user interface.

The total access control software solution must have a warranty of at least two (2) years.

Service and maintenance during the warranty period must be included in the offer. The warranty period begins when the delivery has been fully completed, documented, documentation has been delivered, user training has been arranged, the final cleaning of the contract has been completed, the acceptance inspection has been carried out and approved by the Customer.

The tenderer must bid for the full contract, partial tenders will not be accepted.
