Specialist planning and engineering services in the areas of load-bearing structure, preventive fire protection and building physics for the expansion and modernisation of the Sturmiusschule as well as the Miteinander daycare centre located in the building complex

The city of Fulda intends to bring and expand its existing school capacities to a quality standard that meets modern pedagogical requirements. It is planned to increase the space available to the Sturmiusschule through extensions and to replace the existing buildings -

as far as not already done - to modernize.

The buildings, especially the extensions, should meet special requirements for energy efficiency and sustainability.

The new school location should be ready for use with regard to the rooms to be created for the all-day school by the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year at the latest.

The total costs according to DIN 276 (KG 200-700) for schools and daycare centers are estimated at approx.

14.5 million euros.

Rough scheduling:

- Start immediately after completion of vGV

- Planning phase for daycare until the end of Q1/2024

- School planning phase 2024 (submission of building application summer 2024)

- Start of construction of school from the end of 2024, daycare center spring 2024

- Completion / commissioning of daycare center at the end of 2025

- Planned commissioning of the new school buildings for the school year 2026/2027

- Overall completion at the end of 2027

Scope:

Structural engineering (§49 ff. HOAI)

Fire Protection Planning (AHO Issue 17)

Building Physics (Annex 1 No. 1.2 HOAI);

- phased commissioning of basic services, work phases 1-9

- for the time being only level 1 with LPH 1-4 including associated special services for school and outdoor facilities (approval planning for the daycare center is prepared by the working group)

Special services: none

The assignment of basic and special services from level 4 onwards is intended according to the provision of the funding and financing resources.

There is no legal entitlement to the assignment (as well as with further stages / service phases and other special services).

The assignment is essentially based on the terms and conditions of the municipal contract models (as of 2021) in addition to the GTCS and ZVB of the city of Fulda.
