The expansion of the A 565 between the Bonn-Nord motorway junction and the Bonn-Nordost motorway junction is included in the currently valid Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan and assigned to the "Further requirements with planning rights (WB*)". The overall project is divided into two sub-projects according to the requirements plan:
Subproject 1 is the section to be planned here from the motorway junction (AK) Bonn-Nord (without intersection) to the junction (AS) Beuel. This expansion section also includes the renewal of the Rhine bridge at the entrance to the A 565.
Accompanying work phases 1 and 2 of the traffic facility service profile (preliminary planning), environmental investigations are required. The project is subject to EIA.
In addition to an environmental impact study (EIS), environmental services for species protection/fauna and two adjacent FFH areas must be provided.
The technical planning is not part of this service description.
The planning process starts with the preliminary planning and the variant comparison. The variant comparison documents the selection of the preferred route and shows the advantages and disadvantages of the variants in the weighing process. For this purpose, the interests of the environment are brought into the balancing process with the present services.
In this project, six main variants with 3 sub-variants (north and south of the route, in the same position, as tunnel solution and combined solution tunnel - "inter-urban traffic"/bridge - "interconnected traffic"-) are to be investigated. A waiver of the foreshore bridge on the left bank of the Rhine and realization as an earthworks is also being examined. The number of variants will be reduced as part of the considerations, so that not all variants will probably reach the impact forecast.
The following environmental services must be provided:
- Environmental Impact Study (UVS)
- Faunistische Planungsraumanalyse (FPA)
- Faunistic achievements
- FFH-Verträglichkeitsprüfungen (FFH-VP)
