The Directorate for Emergency Communication -DNK- is acting on behalf of the Norwegian Ministry of Justice in relation to procurement of radio terminals for i.a. the 3 emergency agencies for use in the Public Safety System. DNK invites interested suppliers to submit tenders for delivery of Radio Terminals and appurtenant services and equipment for the entire mainland of Norway (the Public Safety System project, Phases 0-5).

DNK shall enter into non-exclusive parallel Framework Agreements with minimum 3 suppliers for each Radio Terminal category included in the tender contest (a total of 8). Tenders were given for each radio terminal category.

Individual contracts were awarded through Mini-Competitions where all suppliers holding a Framework Agreement for a specific Radio Terminal category are obliged to participate (provided the supplier is compliant with the Agency specific minimum requirements, cf. the tender documents' section 2.19). 2-year Framework Agreements will be signed, with options for the Authority to prolong the agreement with up to 2 years (2 + 1 + 1 years).
