Oslo University Hospital invites tenderers to a competition for the procurement of 2 blood type machines for the Immunology and Transfusion Medicine Department (IMM), OUS [Oslo University Hospital] Ullevål.

OUS is a national and regional trauma centre, and it is therefore important that the Immunology and Transfusion Medicine Department can deliver quick and correct test results.

In addition, the department is a national competence centre for blood typology and performs investigations for blood banks in the rest of the country.

The equipment must be fully automatic for comprehensive ABO typing with serum/plasma control, ABO typing without serum/plasma control, RhD typing, antibody screening, antibody identification, antibody titration, phenotyping (C, c, E, e and K), settlement and DAT.

Equipment and reagents must be in line with > Publisher: European Committee on Blood Transfusion (CD-P-TS) and have sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility in line with analysis currently used in the Blood Banks.
