Turnkey contract consisting of demolition work, a new building and renovation of school buildings. Note that large parts of the demolition work is a separate contract that will be carried out before this project. Parts of the demolition work are, however, included in this contract out of coordination considerations.

Environmental considerations are central in the project, which is, amongst other things, reflected in the contract's requirements for a fossil-free/emission free construction site and the competition's qualification requirements that include requirements from environmental projects and an environmental management system certified by third parties.

Slemdal school consists of 3 buildings. The old school building, the main building and the infants school building.

The old school building of 700 m2 is to be renovated. The main building is to be renovated and extended and will be a total of just over 7 000 m2. The infants school building, building north, is to be re-built as a new building with just over 2 600 m2. Re-assembly of art in the building and an external statue.
