The aim of the procurement is that the receipt and processing of household waste at Grinda recycling station is carried out in an efficient and environmentally friendly way, where the inhabitants' needs are taken care of and a contribution is made in reaching Vesars and the owner municipalities' goal of 70 % material recycling.
Tenders shall be submitted in the competition for the operation of Grinda recycling station. Only household waste is taken to Grinda recycling station. The contract includes several functions, including the disposal of received waste.

Grinda is one of 5 recycling stations administered by Vesar AS. In the long term, we would like to coordinate the operation of all 5 recycling stations, which sets guidelines for the contract period for this contract.
A contract shall be signed for the operation of Grinda recycling station, with the disposal of waste delivered to the recycling station. The tenderer will take over the responsibility for and property rights of all the waste (with some exceptions) and shall see to the disposal of the waste in the market.
Only different types of household waste are received at the recycling station, which the households bring themselves to the station, where they put the sorted waste into the appropriate collection units.
The tenderer shall see to good guidelines and help for the public and shall take care of the payment for the delivered residual waste. Furthermore, the tenderer shall maintain good order and carry out administrative assignments connected to the operation, as well as necessary maintenance. The recycling station is open 41 hours per week, but the opening hours can be changed, in accordance with the option.
