The contract covers the provision of groundwater protection consultancy for the drinking water production areas Verden, Langenberg, Panzenberg and Wittkoppenberg for a period from 1.1.2020 or from the date of the award until 31.12.2023 on the basis of the already established protection and consulting concept. The advice contained in the Annex ("Additional advice") to the Directive on the granting of subsidies for the promotion of water protection projects in drinking water abstraction areas and in target areas of the EC Water Framework Directive within the framework of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (Water Conservation Program Land Management ) listed services.

The groundwater protection advisory service is supported and fully financed by funds from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and funds from the Lower Saxony Water Extraction Charge. The specifications of the funding decision of the Lower Saxony State Agency for Coastal and Nature Conservation, which must still be given to the client, must be observed in the course of the provision of services.
