The city of Memmingen, Stadtwerke Memmingen, is planning the construction of a combined indoor and outdoor swimming pool as a year-round swimming pool at Stadtbadallee 3 (FlstNr. 3757/10, 3757/11 and 3747/3) in Memmingen. The entire building is designed and planned as a passive house. All construction structures meet the requirements of a passive house and are made in close coordination with building physics.

The new building is to be built on the site of the existing outdoor swimming pool, after demolition of the existing building. The new combined pool includes a 25-meter swimming pool with 8 lanes, a diving board 1 meter / 3 meter, a teaching pool with approx. 12.5 x 10 meters, a course pool with movable floor, a toddler pool, as well as other attractions.

In the area of the outdoor pool, a 50-meter pool with 6 lanes, a non-swimmer pool with approx. 500 m² with various attractions and a toddler pool with approx. 100 m² are being built. In addition, in addition to a beach volleyball court, a playground and the like, an outbuilding with changing rooms, sanitary areas and a kiosk will be built in the outdoor facilities.
