In the course of the general renovation and expansion of the Altmühlfranken Clinic in Weissenburg, the planning and implementation of section 1 is pending, followed by section 2.
The Altmühlfranken Clinic in Weissenburg is to be completely renovated and expanded in several construction phases.
The clinic was built in 1983 and is located in the western part of the property. In 2008, it was opened as part of the new building of the Specialist Medical Center (FAZ) - through entrances on the ground floor and basement level 1 - and expanded towards the west. In recent years, selective construction measures have been carried out as part of the maintenance. Due to the age of the building, there are deficits in the available space and functionality in the Weißenburg location. In order to summarize upcoming measures in a basic strategic framework, the executing agency has initiated the creation of a structural target plan. The renovation and expansion of the Weißenburg Clinic provides for a breakdown into at least two construction phases as part of the 2016 target planning. In addition to the target planning, the services for the application for advance determination for the first construction phase have already been performed.
The first construction phase includes the functional building, it includes an expansion and the restructuring of the existing building. The conversion can only take place after the completion of the new building in several subordinate construction phases.
The construction of the entire construction project is divided into construction phases (BA1v, BA1a to BA1d). In this way, the relocation of the existing function points and the operation of individual newly built function points can be guaranteed.
In terms of functionality, the interruption of construction is only possible after the completion of the
Construction phase BA1b plausible. For this reason, the measures of the 1st BA are divided into module 1, module 2:
Module 1: BA1v, BA1a, BA1b Module 2: BA1c, BA1d.
The first phase of construction includes the following functions in the target planning:
Admission and emergency care, medical service, functional diagnostics, endoscopy, laboratory diagnostics, X-ray diagnostics, surgery, childbirth, physical therapy, on-call service, intensive care medicine, service facilities, pastoral care and social service, changing rooms, personnel food supply, drug supply, sterile goods supply, food supply, maintenance and repair, home and transport service, Medical care center (MVZ).
The following area information is currently being accepted for the first construction phase.
- Total usable space: approx. 6,000 m
- Existence: approx. 6 450 m
- New building: approx. 7 600 m
- Total: approx. 14 050 m
The total costs for BA 1 are estimated at EUR 63.8 million gross (Kgr. 200-700). This estimate comes from December 2016.
Start of construction: probably in 2021
Construction end: probably 03/2029
The second construction phase will essentially include the following functions from the areas of care, administration and logistics:
General care, hospital management and administration, archiving, bed preparation, laundry supply, warehousing / goods handling, waste disposal as well as education / training and pathology / prosearch.
The construction times for the second construction phase are still completely open. The total costs for BA 2 are estimated at EUR 30.4 million gross (Kgr. 200-700). This estimate also comes from the end of 2016.
The intention of this tender is to commission the following services in sections and stages:

First, in the first commissioning stage, work phases 3 + 4 (draft and approval planning) should be commissioned for BA 1 in accordance with Section 55 HOAI. Options for BA 1 and BA 2 result from II.2.11. For BA 2, the performance phases 1–9 would be To provide § 55 HOAI.
