The Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified principal Contractor to undertake the provision of main construction services at King Offa and Norman Close, Wallingford Walk, St Albans AL1 2PL. Previously, the site consisted of a Public House and ten units of temporary accommodation. The redevelopment will deliver a scheme of fourteen (14) social housing units (13x two and three bed houses and 1x accessible bungalow). The scheme is intended as an exemplar of offsite, timber frame construction, to be delivered by Donaldson Timber Engineering.
