An ambitious overhaul of the Océanopolis offer through the “Metamorphosis” project will be initiated. This ambition testifies to the reaffirmed desire to pursue the objectives of the original concept while improving the offer and renewing the experience offered.

This ambition in the program now proposed mainly focuses on two axes:

- a renewal of the museography of the "southern" (former polar pavilion), "tropical" pavilions which will result in particular in the modification and creation of aquariums, but also the creation of a "children's" pavilion within the Brittany Pavilion ;

- improving reception conditions for the public with the creation of a “reception” pavilion including shop, ticket office, etc., extension of the existing forum, modifications made to restaurant areas and outdoor areas.
