Finnish Border Guard (later Contracting Authority or Buyer) requests tenders for two (2) Maritime surveillance Dornier 228-212 aircraft modification and maintenance services.

1. The primary scope of the tender is to change aircraft attitude and heading reference system to a more capable system allowing safe execution of

Finnish Border Guard mission flights. In addition, as an option ADSB-Out inhibit function.

2. As an option. The existing mission communication systems are to be enhanced with improved SATCOM and Mobile 3/4G systems. The Tactical Computer harware is to be updated.

3. As an option. Provision for Mission Management System to accomodate new generation Electro Optical Sensor.

4. As an option. The aircraft yearly maintenance.

The options (elements 2-4) may be procured as whole element or individual sub-system changes. The tenderer shall propose all elements and their sub-systems.
