Hosting of the plant cadastre of the federal states for plants requiring monitoring
The "Plant Cadastre of the Länder for Installations in Need of Monitoring" (AnKa) is a database-driven web application which, in addition to a graphical user interface, also includes a web service and is continuously being further developed.
The object of the service to be provided is the safe operation and maintenance of the platform and infrastructure required for the development and operation of the AnKa. This does not include the further development of the AnKa software.
The contractor operates the VMware server platform required for the development and operation of the AnKa, including an external backup platform, in its own data center under data protection law in accordance with German legislation.
The system is to be configured as an independent, fully redundant VMware cluster of at least 3 hosts. All critical components (ESX hosts, network, storage, firewall, connection) must be redundant to ensure high availability of the platform. For redundancy reasons, the platform, including the underlying storage systems, must be set up in two separate fire compartments of a data center or in two spatially separate data centers.
