The Directorate for Emergency Communication (DNK/“the Customer”) is acting on behalf of the Norwegian Ministry of Justice regarding the introduction of a new digital communication network in Norway for emergency and public safety (the Public Safety System). The Authority is i.a. responsible for the roll out of the Public Safety System, the following up on supplier contracts and user agreements and will administrate and own the Public Safety System when it is completed.

In addition to conventional radio terminals there are a need by some users for light and small pagers for callout and alerting. The Fire Agency wish to procure TETRA pagers to connect them to the Public Safety System. The Customer will act on behalf of the contracting entities in this procurement.
