Turku Region Purification Plant Oy competes the spare parts and maintenance service of the Kaavinmachinery. The package of services covered by the acquisition includes spare parts for scraper machinery at the Kakolanmäki wastewater treatment plant and maintenance, installation and repair of scraper machinery.

Turku Region Treatment Plant Oy is a service provider owned by 14 municipalities that provides benign wastewater treatment service to its owners and other customers in a cost-effective manner. The treatment plant is responsible for and takes care of the operation of the Kakolanmäki sewage treatment plant and its treatment results.

The use of the wastewater treatment plant is aimed at the best possible treatment result, at least meeting environmental authorisation regulations. The plant will treat the effluent of 300,000 residents of the Turku region. In addition, the plant handles industrial sewage in the area.
