EBN has been tasked by EZK to map the subsurface in areas where there is sparse existing seismic data coverage, in order to better understand the potential for deep geothermal energy and accelerate development of geothermal energy. The scope of the tendering procedure consists of acquisition of seismic data onshore in one specified location as a test phase for a regional scale seismic acquisition programme, which is foreseen to take place in 2019 and onwards.
