Governments in Flevoland, Noord-Holland and Utrecht are working together within MRA-E to realize a comprehensive future-proof network of public fast chargers. By means of this tender, a Framework Agreement is concluded for the realization, management, maintenance and operation of fast chargers in participating Municipalities and Provinces within MRA-E. MRA-E has set three objectives:

- Timely realization of a basic fast charging network spread on municipal and provincial lands that grows with the fast charging needs of passenger vehicles, taxis, target group transport and light city logistics;

- High-quality services at a competitive charging price to ensure that users can charge a sufficient amount of electricity in a short period of time and uptime is guaranteed;

- Given the frameworks of available grid capacity and grid congestion, gain experience with the realization of future-proof Fast Chargers.

The scope of the framework agreement consists of a maximum of 600 fast charging locations.
