Norse Environmental Waste Services is seeking up to 6 third-party Service Providers to receive and process green waste from their operations in Norfolk, with no haulage required, under a framework owned by the Norse Group.

Provision of Receipt and Processing of Green Waste Framework.
Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS), a joint venture company between Norse Commercial Services (51%) and the 7 Borough, City and District Councils of Norfolk (49%), intends to run a competitive tendering exercise to appoint up to 6 third-party Service Providers to a framework who must be able to receive and process green waste from NEWS operations around Norfolk in full compliance with legislative requirements. There is no requirement in this contract for haulage as this is covered by NEWS under separate contractual arrangements.

Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS), a joint venture company between Norse Commercial Services (51%) and the 7 Borough, City and District Councils of Norfolk (49%), intends to run a competitive tendering exercise to appoint up to 6 third-party Service Providers to a framework who must be able to receive and process green waste from NEWS operations around Norfolk in full compliance with legislative requirements. Provide and maintain a Green Waste Composting facility capable of receiving and processing Green Waste. The framework will be owned by the Norse Group on behalf of NEWS who will be the sole user. Quantities of green waste will be awarded by way of call-off contracts annually. The successful bidders must be able to provide a fully compliant Green Waste Composting Facility, ideally in the Council boundary from where the waste is generated to reduce any environmental and cost issues caused by bulk haulage.
