Description:
Establishing national contracts for purchasing and refurbishing pumps, including flexibility for market changes and moving away from diesel pumps.
Procurement of pumps (managing agent to purchase & refurbishment). Mobile Assets (MA) on behalf of the Environment Agency wishes to establish two national contracts: Lot 1: To award a managing agent / tier 1 supplier for the purchase of all pumps (2” – 36”); including not limited to the auxiliary equipment. This enables flexibility in the assets as the market evolves and moves away from diesel pumps. Lot 2: A single supplier who provides refurbishment services for all EA’s pumps.
The estimated value is across both lots across all 6 years. There will be no guaranteed spend under either contracts. Lot 1 - Managing Agent for Pump Purchase Lot 1: To award a managing agent / tier 1 supplier for the purchase of all pumps (2” – 36”); including not limited to the auxiliary equipment. This enables flexibility in the assets as the market evolves and moves away from diesel pumps. Lot 2 - Pump refurbishment Lot 2: A single supplier who provides refurbishment services for all the Environment Agencies submersible pumps.
