Procurement of equipment to install 4 no. 33kV rated cable tails from the current dry mate connectors to the 4 developer berths at the Wave Hub offshore facility for the development and testing of wave energy devices, providing a well-defined and monitored site with electrical connection to the onshore UK electricity grid.

It is intended to replace the current 11kV rated dry mate connectors with a 33kV rated in-line joint and to terminate the cables with half of a 33kV dry mate connector.

4 300m cable tails, each consisting of a double armoured 3-core cable, are laid to the north east as a bundle section over a distance of 160m from the TDU.

Work-scope to supply equipment to replace the current dry mate connectors with an in-line joints and to terminate the cables with half of a dry mate connector along with testing of cables onshore.
