The DWI is tendering a framework agreement for trade visitor events of the "Generation Riesling" for two years, including a two-time extension option for one year each.
The field of activity includes the following points: organization, invitation management and implementation of trade visitor events (including table presentations) of the Riesling generation. A first event is to be held in Hamburg in 2023 with around 25 exhibitors from Generation Riesling.

The Generation Riesling is a loose association of currently about 530 young leaders of the German wine industry, who may not be for more than 35 years. In order to modernize and dynamize the image of German wines, this initiative was launched about 16 years ago.
The conception and implementation of genration Riesling event formats for trade visitors will be put out to tender by means of a framework agreement, in which a first event is planned for 2023 in Hamburg. Further services should be able to be commissioned by the DWI as an option.
The aim of the events is, on the one hand, to further promote the awareness of local wines and to give them a young and modern image. On the other hand, the events are intended to offer the participating wine producers the opportunity to present themselves and their products and to find future business contacts or to maintain existing ones.
The target group of the events is a specialist audience from the trade, gastronomy and media.
The following services are advertised:
1. Organization and implementation of a table presentation with about 25 exhibitors in Hamburg in 2023
2. Optional additional services
a) Organisation and implementation of further table presentations with approx. 25 exhibitors in German conurbations
b) Organization and implementation of creative event(s) with up to 5 generation Riesling members in German conurbations
c) Organization and implementation of creative event(s) with up to 10 Generation Riesling members in German conurbations
d) Organisation and implementation of events in Munich, with which the trade audience from the greater Munich area for wines from the German wine-growing regions is specifically addressed
The contractor designs, plans and organises the trade visitor events on behalf of the German Wine Institute. In addition, the complete invitation management is carried out by the contractor.
The DWI takes over the acquisition of the wine exhibitors as well as the majority of the communication with the Generation Riesling companies.

- The search and rental of a suitable modern and attractive venue.
- The entire preparation and execution of the events.
- The design and printing of an event catalogue or tasting lists.
- Invitation management.
- Press work for the events.
- The activities are based on a cost, measures and timetable.
- The designation of a central contact person for the events, who monitors and controls the entire action.
