external technical and financial support to the INTERREG Darker Sky programme
The University of Brest is the Lead Partner of the transnational cooperation project "Darker Sky - reducing light pollution in the NSR contributing to biodiversity and dark ecological corridors", funded by the EU under the Interreg North Sea Region programme 2021-2027. This program brings together 14 partners from 4 countries (France, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark). The project application was approved by the Interreg NSR Programme Monitoring Committee on 17 April 2023, and the project will be implemented from May 2023 to November 2026. The final project report must be submitted to the Programme Secretariat by the end of 2026 at the latest.
