The work concerns the creation of the lateral channels of the free-flow crossing operation of the Paris-Normandy motorways and the creation of a lane of intersecting lane between the exit ramp of junction 13 (Mantes Ouest) and the entrance ramp of junction 12.
Free-flow motorway Paris Normandy - Main works - Construction and commissioning of channelsThe works consist of constructing temporary motorway sections with 1, 2 or 3 lanes along the banks of the existing toll booths, and putting them into service, in order to be able to deconstruct the existing toll facilities, and create the final infrastructure at the axis of the existing barriers (service outside the scope of this contract).
Free-flow motorways Paris Normandy - Main works - Construction and commissioning of the Mantes-Buchelay channels and intersecting trackThe works consist of constructing temporary motorway sections with 1, 2 or 3 lanes along the banks of the existing toll booths, and putting them into service, in order to be able to deconstruct the existing toll facilities, and create the final infrastructure at the axis of the existing barriers (service outside the scope of this contract). The development works consist of creating a criss-crossing lane, without widening the existing platform of the A13 motorway (removal of a lane upstream of the tunnel), and by adapting the corresponding signage. It should be noted that as part of this development, the current section of the A13 is not modified. Nevertheless, in the direction of Paris - Province, the existing platform has been developed to allow the creation of an intersecting road linking the two diffusers.
